ST BARTHS, VACATIONS AND GOOD MUSIC

 

 Three weeks ago I visited the island of St. Barths with my husband to introduce our new musical project The Stereo Lights during the St. Barths Summer Sessions festival and also took the opportunity to take a pre – anniversary holiday.

In fact it is the first time I travel since I made the transition to a vegan diet and had my reservations, but that is why I went super prepared. 

GIVE ME A BREAK

Hola a todos! La semana pasada pensando en que regalo le podia dar a mi esposo de cumple, se me ocurrio la idea de aprovechar que aun no es carnaval, y llevarmelo de fin romantico a la Isla de Margarita. Lo mas increible fue el balcon de nuestra habitacion, no hay nada mas relajante que desayunar escuchando el sonido del mar y disfrutando de esa maravillosa vista. A pesar de que me encantaria que la isla fuese recuperada, y que la pusieran a valer como se deberia, me hace recordar lo bello de nuestro pais y la suerte que tenemos de que a pesar de todo, aun vivimos en un sitio muy hermoso. El viaje era para descansar y eso hicimos, el primer dia lo pasamos en Playa Parguito y los otros dos dias decidimos pasarlos en Playa El Yaque, ya que una pareja de amigos son dueños de la escuela de kite surfing "Jack Sparrow" (se las recomiendo increiblemente si son amantes de este deporte), los van a tratar de la manera mas dulce y van a aprender con el mejor. Hi!!! last week I was thinking about what present to give my husband, and the idea of going to Margarita Island before carnival to take a romantic holiday. The most amazing thing was our balcony, there's nothing as relaxing as having breakfast while listening to the sea and enjoying the breathtaking view.  Even though I wish the island was recovered and cared for as it should, being there reminds me of how lucky we are and how beautiful is our country. The trip was to relax and thats exactly what we did, the first day we went to Parguito beach and the other two we went to El Yaque beach, since our friends own the kite surfing school "Jack Sparrow" (I really recommend it if you love the sport or want to learn), they are going to be the sweetest and you will learn with the best. Hola a todos! he tenido abandonado el blog porque estuve en Miami por una semana haciendo varias cositas: una sesion de fotos para un editorial de bodas, terapias de masajes con la excelente entrenadora y terapeuta Adriana Varguillas, grabe un tutorial de maquillaje para ustedes (viene pronto) con la maravillosa maquilladora Carolyn Jones, fui a la playa, pase tiempo con mi mama, intente quitarme el color negro del cabello pero me lo mancharon y lo tuve que repintar. Acabo de llegar a Los Angeles y estoy feliz de estar con mi esposito bello y Lili acurrucados en la camita. Pronto otro post esta semana ya que mañana comienzo mi rutina de alimentacion y ejercicios para ponerme en forma antes de las navidades y tengo que contarles todo para que lo hagan conmigo. Aqui les muestro foticos de algunas cosas que vi e hice :)

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that I've abandoned the blog, I was in Miami for a week doing all sorts of things: a photoshoot for a wedding editorial, massage therapy with the extraordinaire trainer and therapist Adriana Varguillas, I recorded a makeup tutorial (coming soon) for you guys with the great Carolyn Jones, went to the beach, hanged with my mom, tried to make my hair color lighter but they messed it up and I had to dye it again. I landed in Los Angeles a few hours ago and I'm so happy to be with my husband and Lili, cuddling in bed. There will be another post this week since tomorrow I start my new eating and exercise routine to get in shape before Christmas, so I have to tell you guys everything so we can do it together. Here are some pics of things I saw and did :)

La cancion de hoy es otra de Friendly Fires llamada "Jump in the Pool" y coloco esta banda de nuevo porque llevo dos semanas escuchando su primer album initerrumpidamente, me encanta y me hace sentir en la playa...me pone de buen humor.

The song for today's post is again from the band Friendly Fires and it's called "Jump in the Pool" and I decided to put this band again because over the last two weeks I've been listening to their first album uninterruptedly, I loved it and it makes me feel like I'm at the beach...just gets me in a good mood.
